Gatlinburg Vacation Part 4 of 5 Food and Entertainment

We did alot of fun things around the town including some things we did last year and some new things too.  One of the first days we ate at Bubba Gumps which we all loved.  While waiting (outside in the cold) Lucy fell asleep while in the baby sling Jonathan was carrying.  I don't know how she slept but was apparently very comfortable!

We went to the candy store MULTIPLE times.  It was a favorite of the kids and Jenna!

One afternoon we rode the sky lift while all the men stayed at the cabin to keep Lucy...party poopers! How many men does it take to keep a sleeping baby?!

But Brayden came along as the man of the group and protected us all!

Heading back down...

We went to the new Titanic museum and it was AMAZING!  Seriously if you get a chance to go it was great.  As you waited in line, they gave you a "boarding pass" of one of the real passengers on the Titanic.  It gave their story and it made a real connection for us when we felt like we were one of them.  There were some wonderful exhibits inside!  We couldn't take pics inside but I did make some outside the museum.

Both Karis and Brayden said the Titanic museum was one of their favorites of the whole week.  I would agree!

One afternoon we also took Karis and Brayden on a helicopter ride...it was awesome!  The kids thought it was so cool!  It was all of our first times to ride in a helicopter.

Brayden brought his very own helicopter along for the ride...

When Jay's family used to go to Gatlinburg on vacation every year, they always went to the Apple Barn to eat apple pie and drink cider.  So he wanted to start that tradition with our family.  The pie and cider was delicious!

Mom and I also took the kids to the Dixie Stampede the last day and it was kinda expensive but well worth the money!  It was a great show and an amazing dinner!  We each had vegetable soup, a whole chicken, tenderloin, corn on the cob, a potato and dessert.  AND they don't give you silverware so you have to eat with your hands.  It was a little strange but not bad at all.  Karis didn't like that idea so before we left she loaded up her purse with spoons and forks for all of us haha!  We will definitely go back next year!

Pre-show

We couldn't take pics during the show but it was great!  The kids kept asking if it was over yet because they didn't want it to be over!  Oh and Brayden and I are both allergic to horses so we prepared and took benadryl before we went and got pretty yucky feeling towards the end but nothing that a little meds couldn't fix.  Karis wanted her pic taken with all the girls!

During the course of the week we also managed to eat at Five Guys (Brayden called it "five boys") and it was delicious!

We also ate at Red Lobster and Karis got to touch a lobster out of the tank.  She loved that!

Great food and entertainment...diets will have to wait until after the New Year ha!
