Brayden and the thing he loves the most!

Besides fishing that is, Brayden loves baseball the most!  Due to some rain-outs the past few weeks (imagine that!) he had 2 make-up games Friday night and Saturday morning.  He is doing so much better this year than last and truly LOVES the game, is focused on the field, and is learning more about the game.  Instead of using the tee, his coach is pitching to him and he is getting some great hits!  He is even learning to slide (even though it isn't necessary ha!).

Here are a ton of pictures I took from the 2 games this weekend....
Oh and some of them are a little fuzzy it is because I was using a zoom lens and I was taking them with the fence between us.  Sometimes it was focusing it out and sometimes you can still barely see it.

You can see the fence in these below...

I am so proud of you Brayden...I LOVE to watch you play baseball!

Random pictures....

Due to our internet being down, I am way behind in posting and in pictures that I have taken over the week.  So instead of posting by the day, I am categorizing them to make things faster and simpler.  Here are some random pics I took of the kids this week....

The orange boys...

Brayden had just eaten a popsicle (hence the blue teeth ha)!

Karis' Kindergarten program....

Karis had her end of the year Kindergarten program this morning and I was so excited to get to see her in action.  They have worked so hard for this and she had a special part in the program.   I can't believe my baby is about to be in first grade!!!

Lolli met us there and I came with these cuties...

Karis is front and center on the first row wearing a blue shirt.

She had just gotten her medal...I wasn't quick enough getting the picture!

They sang 5 cutie songs, got their medals and then they played a slideshow of all the pictures they have taken throughout this year.  It was played to some music that had me crying on the first line.  I just can't believe she is such a big girl!

Afterwards, we went into her classroom to get her Kindergarten portfolio from the year.  It had some really neat things in it and I loved seeing her in her element.  She showed us all around (again) and was so proud we were there!

This is her best friend in her class Precious.  Her parents couldn't come so we adopted her for the day. :)

Lucy loved the reading center...I am telling ya...she will be my reader!  She LOVES books!

This is Karis and her teacher Mrs. Mary Catherine.  Karis ADORES her! Mrs. MC told me she was failing Karis so she could be in her class again next year.  :)

This is her square for carpet time...

And THIS is the square she threw up on at the beginning of the year...haha!

This is her teacher assistant Mrs. Amy...Karis loves her too!

Karis' fav thing about Kindergarten was P.E.!

Her friend Destiny C.

Karis was hugging the classroom mascot, an alligator Karis gave her.

Landon's (that I keep) mother works on Karis' hall and Lucy LOVES her.  She wanted to see Mrs. Becky and was yelling her name during the program.  So we had to go down and see her.

I am so thankful for Mrs. Becky.  She has taken care of Karis this year and I am sooo thankful!

Mrs. Becky is an assistant to Mrs. Burchett, who is 9 months pregnant.  I will be keeping her baby in the Fall and Karis adores her too!

I checked Karis out of school and I took her and the boys to Kyoto because two of Karis fav foods are rice and chicken.  She LOVED it!  They all thought the cooking was so neat and they all loved the food too.

This is what the boys did during the fire part....

They were amazed at all the "tricks" the chef could do!

When I asked Karis if she liked the food, she did this....and said, "It is GREAT!"  I felt the same way....my favorite!

I am so proud of you Karis!  You have been such a great student this year (so they tell me) and I am proud of how hard you have worked and all that you have learned.  I am also proud that you are a great friend to anybody in your class despite what they look like, what others think and what is "cool." You see everyone as an equal and I might be more proud of your character and the sweet young lady that you are than I am about anything you have achieved or learned this year.  You are my little angel and me and your daddy will always be your number one fan!  I love you sweetheart with all that I am!
