Lucy's last day of Kindergarten/Brayden's last day of 2nd grade national school

Lucy's last day was consistent of a little program in her classroom and lots of pictures taken.  

Last day of homeschool 2015

Well our first full year of real homeschool is now in the books!!!

Lucy has officially completed Kindergarten, Brayden completed 2nd grade and Karis complete 4th grade!

It has been a challenge some days, reallllly hard some days, mind-blowing, fun, exciting, tiring and amazing all the same time.  I have seen my kids struggle, learn, cry, be amazed, grow and be stretched in a way I have never before.  They have worked so hard and have learned so much.  I have seen Lucy go from learning/sounding out letters to full-blown reading me books.  It brings tears to my eyes to know the things that we all have encountered and learned together, both educational and about each other and about life.  

We look forward to a break in our schedules now for the next few months and I am sure by then we will be ready for next year….FIRST, THIRD AND 5TH GRADES!!!

First day of National School

Well we started homeschool weeks ago but since we are doing both homeschool and National school, today is another first.  Everyone was a little anxious but excited.  Mom was struggling a tad but wanted everyone to just have a good day.

And here is Lucy's homeschool accomplishment! :)

First days of school

Lucy sure does love school so far!  She is learning like a champ and loving craft time especially.  When she finishes her work for the day, she almost always asks if I can give her more work. I know this won't  last long so I am enjoying it while it lasts!

First day of school 2014…Kindergarten, 2nd and 4th!

Well we survived the first day of homeschool with success! 

We discovered that dad too had left the kiddos a message before he left for work today.  It made our day. :)

Our morning devotion…Karis had already put it on today's date and had it ready for us.  She is soooo my mini-me.

First Kindergarten craft and it was her favorite part of today she said.  

Lucy gives school a BIG thumbs up!  And even after she finished her school work, she came back into the school room and asked for more work ha!  I know this eagerness won't last long, but enjoying it for a season!
