Dinner with our Iraqi friends

In our city we are thankful to have met some wonderful friends from Iraq.  They fled their country necessarily and have become some very dear friends.  They had us over for dinner and we so enjoyed our time together.  And the food was delicious!  

Spring has sprung!

This picture was on my timehop a few days ago and it explains their personalities to a T.  Karis is my cautious, play-it-safe, needs reassurance and show to action child while Brayden is quite the opposite.  He is brave, lives on the edge, "let me at 'em!" kid!

The flowers are blooming around our house and they are beautiful!

Friendship sees no language barrier….

Met some new friends that have a pottery shop complete with potters wheel in their shop.  They invited us in to come make some pottery!
