December Life

This month has been packed as most Decembers are but at the same time it has been good and calm.  We are so grateful for the blessings he has given us.  Days can be hard here but He is still so good!

Brayden has loved reading lately and one week he read 8 books in a week.  Thankful he is picking up a love for reading!

Karis was making cupcakes and we noticed they were especially made with LOVE!  (look carefully)

I met a new neighbor and had coffee...

We made donuts for friends and neighbors...

Lucy lost her other front tooth!

We shared with this English class and met some new friends!  We were also able to share about what we believe which was super cool!

We hosted a language club and this was the aftermath!

Lots of baking this month….

Karis made homemade Reeses and they were delicious!

Proud of this boy….

Love getting to pick this sweet girl up….

We needed baby jars for advent so the kids decided they wanted to do a baby food challenge...

Shopping days with my girls...

New friends...

We took a day trip to a city only 20 minutes from our house and it was a beautiful day in a beautiful city with beautiful people.

This girl is beating us in Uno all the time now!

We met some new refugee friends in our neighborhood.  We had chai together and have continued our relationship.  The struggles, hardships and stories these ladies had to tell were unreal.  Pray for their families and for all the hardships they face by leaving everything behind and having to start over in a country in a language they don't speak.  In some ways I can totally relate.

The scriptures in Arabic….

This is typical life here….Karis is in the middle of this group and they are asking her 100 questions!

Prayerwalking with the family...

Wall decor he did all by himself...

Lucy playing around with the new selfie stick…she makes me laugh!

Neighborhood friends...

We met a new believer in our city and have enjoyed getting to know him.

Daddy took the kiddos here while mom did some last minute Christmas shopping….
