A day with family....

My in-loves (Jay's family) were all in a Passion Play at their church for Easter so we decided to make a day trip (2 hours one way) to see it!  We left about noon on Saturday and got back about 11 p.m. so it was quick but worth the trip.  It was great to see them and the play was amazing of course.

We spent the afternoon at their house before they had to leave for the play and Karis was reading a devotional to Nonnie and Pop-Pop....

All of their flowers (and their neighbors) were blooming and they were so beautiful!

Aunt Jessi got them all Easter baskets full of goodies.  They were excited and full of sugar for the rest of the afternoon ha!

When they had to leave to get ready for the play, we went over to Grandmother Lucy's and Pinto's house to eat BBQ with them and Uncle Hudson and Aunt Judy.

Jay was preparing to preach twice the next day so he couldn't come with us this time.  So me and my kiddos... 

Pop-Pop was a soldier, Nonnie was a commoner and Aunt Jessi was the Harlot found in John 8.  They all did a great job!

Quick but great trip!

Random Friday

I started this post on Friday but never finished it.  Better late than never!

I recently ordered this for Brayden for his allergies since he will be starting school soon.  It is the wrist ID slim and it can be found here for $17.  It is actually a runner's bracelet but I thought it would be great for him to have so people will know his allergies and that he has an epipen/asthma inhaler just in case.  I like it so much I want the girls to have one too!  I might order one for myself too for running.

This has been my new fav song lately.  It is called "Restless" by Audrey Assad. Beautiful!

The other day me and Lucy got out to run errands by ourselves.  I loved getting to spend one-on-one time with my sweet baby.  :)

I did ZUMBA for the first time on Thursday with my friend Jennifer (Jake's mom) and it was so much fun. I was clueless for some of it but hopefully will do better this week.  It was fun, my heart rate was up and the time went by so fast I could hardly believe it when it was over.  I am gonna try to to go again this week.

Since Spring is in the air (or summer since it's 85 today!), we have spent alot of time outside with our friends!

I saw somebody on a blog say this week, "You know you're a mom when you have a beautiful spring weed arrangement in your kitchen!"

So true...that same day this sweet boy had picked these beautiful weeds flowers for me.  I didn't have the heart to tell him so I of course said they were the most beautiful flowers I had ever been given and put them right in some water so we could sneeze admire them all day long!  :)

Landon often clings to me when it is time to go home but this particular day he was wrapping his legs and arms around me and grabbing me everywhere he could.  I was laughing so hard I was almost crying!  His sister took this pic because it was too priceless not to document ha!

These two will have so much more fun when they can walk around and play with the big kids!  Right now they just sit, watch and look pretty stinkin' cute!
