Preparations for par-tay!

Thursday night we all went to the store for some last minute party supplies and Karis spent the evening making her own bags for her friends.  She loves drawing and organization so she had a blast making these.  She was so proud of them and I am thankful she is at the age where she can contribute to her own party.

John Deere and Red-Eyed Treefrog

The weather is gorgeous and everyone is finally getting healthy again so I feel refreshed and am on our way back to "normalcy."    We spent most of the day outside b/c we absolutely couldn't help it!  I wanted to be outside as much as they did!

Our buddy Eli came today and the boys LOVED having him here!

Cuties...

While outside we found this little pet of the day and guess what they named him?  Red-eyed tree frog...what else?!?!

Not sure what she was doing here but it's funny!  Pucker up!

Then I let the kids "pretend" they were driving the tractor and they were eagerly waiting on their turn.  Who knew it would be such a hit?!

Looking forward to a night shopping with my Karis to get her birthday party supplies...it's tomorrow night!  Yah!

Watching for daddy

Most afternoons you might find Lucy here waiting on her daddy to come home.  And when she spots him, she waves aggressively and then runs to the garage door.  She LOVES it when daddy comes home!!!

I love it when daddy comes home too!  :)

Rednecks, Bikes and Bibles

This picture of this sweet, precious, innocent, little boy can be deceiving.

Jay calls mullets "business in the front, party in the back."  Brayden has a very different kind of mullett here.  He called it his ponytail haha!  That is soooo REDNECK!

This past weekend, Lolli took Karis to pick out her a new bike for her upcoming birthday.  Here she is sporting her new "big girl" bike!

Lucy's new toy is her Bible.  She carries it around alot of the time.  But she doesn't just want to hold it, she wants me to read it to her ALL DAY.  She brings it to me and says, "Bubu" meaning Bible.  Her favorite story is Zaccheus and she has wanted me to sing the song a million times!

She was even laying on it like a pillow!

And hugging it

She has started trying to "sing" it without saying the words of course b/c she can't.  But here is Lucy's version of "Zaccheus."  It is so sweet to watch her try to sing it and then she just grins really big.
