A zoo trip to remember….

Today we visited the local city zoo and we were excited because it literally only cost $1 total for us all to get in.  What a deal right?!  Well the zoo wasn't exactly what we were used to back home.  We walked through the whole thing in about 30 minutes and we were shocked to see some of the animals locked up.  I will let you see for yourself….

There were lots of dogs and they were all laying like this….

Didn't know black labs could be in a zoo….

In this big cage you would think it would be something cool and big, but if you will look closely, you will see…..rabbits.

Karis did like the horses...

The best part of the day…the sky was gorgeous!

This cat looked like it had been electrocuted!

This is how we felt at the beginning of the day….

And at the end of the day…..

It was a pitiful zoo but we were thankful for a fun day out together and a good laugh ha!  We have a lot of INCREDIBLE things in our city but the zoo just didn't make that list!

Pro Basketball, a girl's day and a band

I found a pic we took on Easter morning that I forgot to post.  It is the only one I got of all 5 of us on Easter!

We have an American friend in our city that plays pro basketball here.  We went and hung out at their house the other day and the girls had a blast and Brayden was star-struck!

Troy gave him a basketball and Brayden loved it!

The kiddos...

The other day we went downtown to do some shopping with a friend and there was a traditional band playing at the city center.  It was neat to see.

Beautiful old mosque...

Friends at the playground….

One of Karis' friends brought a pet bunny to the park the other day.

Just monkey'in around...

We went to a restaurant the other night and there was a MONKEY on the top deck where we were sitting.  We were a little freaked out at first but the kids LOVED it and had him eating of their hands.

At one point he even climbed up on Brayden's shoulders...

That's a dinner experience we won't forget it!
