Post party and Mother's Day Celebrations

Since we were going to have both grandmothers here for Lucy's birthday party this weekend, we decided to celebrate Mother's Day today as well.  So after the party, family stayed and we hung out for the afternoon and ate dinner and celebrated Mother's Day this evening.  We went to the lake for a while...

We all think Lucy looks like Nonnie from the side.  They have the same haircut/profile!  See?

Lucy was giving Uncle Matt a veil?!

We gave Nonnie a 16 X 20 canvas print of the kids.

We gave Lolli a personalized door mat and a Grandmother picture frame.

Jay grilled out again for dinner.  We had marinated grilled chicken, corn on the cob, baked potatoes and dirty rice.  Aunt Tiffany brought a low-fat dessert too.  It was delicious!  How many men does it take to grill some chicken???

My mom had brought Lucy this potty chair she got at a yard sale and Lucy came in saying she needed to go potty.  She tells me all the time but won't ever go.  She just likes sitting on it.

So thankful for our Mothers and happy to celebrate with them this Mother's Day (a week late).

Whew!  What a day but such a good one!  We don't take one holiday for granted these days.  I am so thankful for all of our family and the time that we get to spend together!
