Happy Cinco de Mayo!

It's the 5th of May, Cinco de Mayo, and it's just another day around here.  No special celebration or party.  But it still was fun!

This week has been Teacher Appreciation Week at Karis' school and she has loved getting to take gifts to them each day.  Last night she spent 30 minutes making each of them cards.

She took them these beautiful flowers today that she picked out herself...

While girls will be girls, boys will be boys.  These little rascals spent the first half of the day playing with a frog they found until they decided to let it go and they found a DEAD little snake.   No I wouldn't let them touch it but they carried it around all afternoon on a stick.

They even set up a "store" where you could fried steak snake if you so desired....YUM-MY!

In honor of Cinco de Mayo, we celebrated it with true Mexican food...Taco Bell!  :)  Brayden had a makeup game so we picked up some TB on the way and then headed over to the baseball fields.  He had some great hits tonight and I can tell he has really matured a lot since last season.  He stays focused the whole time and fights for the ball every time.  Tonight when they put him in the outfield, he would beat the pitcher to the ball (in the in field) ha!  He was HUSTLING!

Proud of my kiddos!  Looking forward to tomorrow...exciting day!  :)
