Busy Saturday...

This morning we had an Arts and Crafts Fair on the Square and it is always a blast.  There are booths set up everywhere and lots to eat and buy.  Our church had a BBQ booth set up and we worked at that for a couple of hours until we totally ran out of food!  We had people that bought sandwiches (smoked all night last night by our friend Brandon) that came back asking to buy a whole butt because it was so good!  It is seriously the best BBQ we have ever had!  The kids got to have fun with their friends too so that is always a plus.

Look at the lines waiting for our food!!!  We had to turn people away because we sold out so fast!

We let each of the kids pick something out and Brayden chose a ping-pong ball gun and Karis chose to get her face painted.  She was soooo excited about this!!!  Oh and she picked out her own design too.

Then after we left the A-fair, Jay took Lucy home to get a nap while Karis, Brayden and I went to a graduation party.  This is Carly, who I taught in 6th and 7th grade, and she just graduated last night.  She was a WONDERFUL student and we developed a strong bond and kept in touch over the years.  She invited me and my friend Faith (also one of her former teachers) to her graduation party and I wouldn't miss it.  She is such a special girl and I was proud to come and celebrate with her!  Carly's house burned down about a year ago and now has been rebuilt so she showed us around and it looks so cute and modern.  She had a great attitude through it all and has turned into such a lady!  I am so proud of her!

Then on the way home the kids and I stopped by Shelby Farms to see their new playground we have heard so much about.  We had to stop by the buffaloes for a pic of course....

Check out this playground....so cool!  The kids were in hog heaven!  It is like 4 playgrounds in one.

On our way back to the car, we had to stop by the lake so Brayden could throw rocks in the lake.

We got home around 7:30 just in time to eat a quick dinner, take some much needed baths and get some tired kiddos to bed!  Another very busy day tomorrow....it's been a crazy weekend!
