Fishing with daddy

We were all thrilled to go to church as a family today after all being sick in some form or another over the last 2-3 weeks.  It was great to be back!

After church Karis went home with Mari-Morgan so Jay decided he would take Brayden fishing.  He was THRILLED to get to go!  He started jumping up and down and had the biggest grin!  He had to take all of his fishing lures!

For the first time, Jay said, Brayden did everything himself.  He can cast it, reel it in, and even take the fish off the hooks.  Jay said Brayden seriously caught as many as he did.  He was very proud of their "catch."

Me and Lucy came for a while and watched them fish along the bank.  She touched the fish all over and even tried to hold one until it moved haha.  She is not afraid of them at all!

All his fishing lures...he prizes these as if their trophies!

Like Daddy, Like Son

They kept enough for us to eat one night this week...bon appetite!  Brayden stayed right next to daddy the whole time, even when he was cleaning them!  I foresee them spending many more hours doing this in the future!
