Happy 35th Birthday Jay!

Today my sweet husband celebrated his 35th birthday and we enjoyed celebrating the day together!  The kids and I bought his gift a week ago and they kept it a secret the entire week.  AND Jay even "tried" to get it out of them.  Brayden kept saying, "We got you a bag of sticks!!!"

The kids picked him out a card that when you opened it, you hear a baby laughing really hard.  Lucy thought it was hilarious. It was apparently REALLY funny to the kids!

We got him a Wii along with a game.  This is something we have wanted for a while for our family and just never have gotten one.  The kids were beyond thrilled that we took the plunge!  We are hoping this is something that will be good to do as a family!

The kids were a blast (Brayden really) playing today with all the games.  He was doing boxing and was using both hands knocking that guys nose off.  We were laughing soooo hard!

We made daddy sausage balls this morning for breakfast (Jay's request) and we forgot to serve them on the special red birthday plate we use.  So Karis made him a lunch on it and she did it ALL by herself with all of Jay's favorites on it.

Chips, his favorite dip Texias Caviar, an oatmeal cream pie, coke and a candle so we could sing him Happy Birthday!  :)

He was very thankful for his special lunch Karis made for him!

This afternoon I was taking a shower getting ready for our date and I caught the kids doing this.  They do love each other very much (most of the time).

Lolli offered to come to our house and watch the kids so Jay and I could go out on a birthday date.  She took the kids to Chick-fil-a while we went out!  Thanks Lolli!

Before we left...Jay and the kiddos on his 35th birthday! (Nice faces Brayden is making haha)

Me and my hunky husband!
We went to Outback for dinner, finished up our Christmas shopping and then went to the bookstore and got coffee and just enjoyed the peace and quiet while looking at books and magazines.

This is us 2 years ago on Jay's birthday at Texas de Brazil with our buddies Brian and Paige (who were celebrating their anniversary that night).  I was 5 months pregnant with Lucy here.

Happy Birthday Jay!  I am honored to celebrate this special day with you!  I love you with my whole heart!
