We loaded up bright and early (6:00 a.m.) to drive to Columbus, MS to see Jay's grandmother for Christmas. It promised to be a very long day in the car (about 7 hours altogether) so we packed goodies, backpacks of toys and our portable DVD players.
Grace was very sweet to give the kids gifts!
It was bitter sweet. This is the first Christmas without Paw-Paw Lemonds (he passed away in April). You can see last Christmas with them here. It wasn't the same without Pawpaw but we enjoyed spending the morning with Grace.
