Happy 18 months Lucy!

My Lucy baby...you are a TRUE JOY in my life!  You are more and more fun every day and although I don't want you to grow up, I love watching you do new things and learn and succeed!

At 18 months, you:

• wear size 5 shoe, size 4 diaper, size 18-24 month clothes
• eat just about everything we are eating and getting picky about wanting to feed yourself when possible
• sleep at night usually from 8-7ish and take an average of a 2 hour nap, sometimes more and sometimes less
• haven't had an ear infection since June so hopefully we are out of the woods (crossing fingers) but have had LOTS of colds...yuck!
• don't know of anything you are allergic to as of now (you have been exposed to peanut butter once so we don't know yet if you are allergic...I'm not rushing it!)

• Your little personality is soooo fun.  You are a little shy at times like your sissy but are mischevious like your brother too.  You are laid back (except in the car...still fussy at times), like to play tickle and hide-n-seek.
• You give hugs and kisses freely and blow kisses often.  
• You often will tell me when you are poopy and sometimes go lay down where I change your diapers.
• You are a climber!  You climb onto the table, out of your bed (try to), onto the twin bed in your room and you also like to climb into the sink in the bathroom!
• You LOVE to read your Bible.  You bring it to me every day and want to sing your Bible songs.
• You point to all your body parts (eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hair, belly, legs, hands, and feet).

• You love to play in your room with your toys especially the kitchen, your baby dolls, bottles, and stroller.
• You say pretty much anything we say although some are better understood than others.  You often say bye-bye, love you, momma, daddy, lolli, sissy, day-den (Brayden), shoes, Bible, eat, milk, juice, tree, bow, bath and so much more.

• You love your daddy but you are no doubt a momma's girl!

• You are a happy girl but you are working your whining tactics.  Momma doesn't do whining very well so you are learning not to do that and sometimes will go sit in time out on your own or quit very quickly!
• Your little selfishness is starting to come out and have tried to pitch a few fits but not many.  If you get mad because someone has taken something away, you just scream really loud!  
• When mommy or daddy gets onto you for something or telling you no, you sometimes get your feelings hurt and start crying (you are sensitive like your sister).

• You love to play outside!  You will go outside and follow sissy and brother around or just wander by yourself.  

• You love to go on walks and love to hold mommy's hands (and I LOVE it!).

Lucy I love you more than you will ever know! Happy 18 months sweet girl!  I look forward to many more birthdays with you!  You make my heart smile every day!
