So far on our break...

We are officially on Christmas break and off to a great start because we found out Karis got straight A's again and she worked very hard for it!  So proud of her!

We spent some time at Paige's house the other day and this is typical.  When Lucy is around they all cater to her and she is queen and she doesn't mind it one bit.  Karis might ha!, but Lucy LOVES it!

Surprised the kids with new pj's the other night and they were thrilled.  They renamed themselves Peep, Cupcake and Hello Kitty.

The kids have been playing so well together over the break.  I love it when they get along and really don't allow them to fight and argue as much as we can help it.  But this particular day...they love each other.  Everyday...I love them!!!

Lucy was coughing the other night so instead of having a slumber party with Karis and Brayden she went to sleep in my bed while I was watching tv and then I moved her in there later.  I couldn't resist this sweet face...

The other day Lucy came down after I told her to go upstairs and get dressed and she said, "Momma!  Lolli bought me the wrong size!!!!"  Haha Lolli does supply most of their clothes but Lolli did not buy her this.  It was Lucy's baby dress and was in fact a size 6 month ha!  I laughed so hard.   Her Aunt Valerie gave her this when she was a little squirt.

Today the kids helped Jay smoke a turkey. They LOVE giving the turkey a shot!

This afternoon we also went to a birthday party for a girl in Karis' class, Savannah at Skate Odyssey.  Karis recently has loved skating.  She has skated in our garage for the past 3 days and had a great time out there even without a skate helper.  She is learning fast and doing great!

Happy Birthday Savannah!

We came home to finished product and a WONDERFUL smoky smell in my house!  It was delicious.  Karis had FOUR helpings before she was done with dinner tonight!
Looking forward to Christmas and all the festivities over the next few days.  The kids are excited and we are trying hard for them to "get" the real meaning of the special day.
