***WARNING: This is probably the longest post ever and LOTS of pics!
The kids and I (just K and B) went to Pickwick with Jay's mom, dad, sister Jessica, sister Kelly (from Hawaii just moved to NC) and her girls Katie and Kaycee. We were given the house for the week from some of their friends for FREE and the place was IN-CREDIBLE! It was 3 stories and right on the water.
This is the view from my bed! It opened out onto a deck with a hammock and overlooked the water...sooo gorgeous!
We spent most of our time on the water. They had a pontoon boat and we tubed ALOT! The kids had never been on a boat like this so they were amazed and giddy just to be on it. Of course, they LOVED all the time with their cousins no matter what we did though!

(Oh and just a side note...Karis and Kaycee were due on the same day and ended up being 3 days apart. Karis bday is Oct 4 and Kaycee's Oct 7)

Karis and Katie are certainly two peas in a pod! They LOVED each other and got along so well! Katie is such a little momma and loved taking care of Karis and of course Karis just adored her older cousin!

We did ALOT of this and it was a blast! Yep K and B did it and LOVED it!
Ok get ready for a laugh....FOR. REAL!
This was a bumpy ride for me. Check out the progression....
Yep...bet you didn't know I am a contortionist?!?!?! Well although this is hilarious to look at, it wasn't so fun to experience. This fall hurt my back so bad! But all is well and I survived and have the pics to laugh at now! I put the pics on facebook the other day and have had several people say that they have laughed so hard they have cried and snorted...so go figure. I am glad I can bring you some comedy relief haha!
We did alot of swimming too. We would anchor the boat and the kids would literally swim for HOURS! Karis told me on the way there that she would NOT swim in that lake! But as you can tell, she soon jumped in and loved it!
They loved doing shows and jumps off the boat...
And played on the tube...jumping on and off.
We even got to jet-ski one day! We all got one ride and it was so fun!

Love this toothless smile...yep, Karis lost not one, but TWO teeth while in Pickwick (her very first and second). There will be a whole post coming soon on this!

One night we even drove the boat over to a restaurant for dinner at the Pickwick Inn....
On our way back we saw a beautiful sunset while on the boat...
Although we spent lots of time on the water, we made lots of memories at the house too. The girls loved taking bubble baths together!

We celebrated Pop-Pop's birthday last week over July 4th, but his actual bday was on the 8th so the girls made him a cake. We didn't have any candles so we used matches haha!

We even went to a festival one night and the kids got wristbands and rode until their little bodies gave out!
We had such a wonderful time and wish that we didn't live so far away from our cousins! There were many memories made! :)
