Another day of camp

Today was a SUPER HOT day of camp!  We were pretty much miserable if we weren't in the water but it was still so fun.  Brayden had this slide all to himself since the camp kids were too big to use it and he didn't mind one bit!  Karis is at Lollis for a couple of days so that is why she is not in any pics.

This group at camp is 5th-6th graders and he doesn't skip a beat with them.  He does everything they do and plays every game they play, even the rough ones.  He loves it and they love him too!

Oh some good news about last night...we had 2 kids get saved and another rededication after the message.  WOOHOO!

Jay spoke on missions tonight and it was powerful!  He talked about how the world teaches us that the more toys, money, fame and "stuff" we have  the better off we are and the more successful.  However God has something much more for us and he teaches the opposite...sell everything you have and give it to the poor.  He played a video called the Last Letter about people who after selling everything and going to a foreign land, they wrote their "Last Letter" to tell everyone the reason WHY they did it.  It is a bit of a will/testimony as to how God has worked in their lives.  At the end he also played the Cardboard stories which is one of my favorites and it brings tears to my eyes every time.  I have put it on the blog previously but for those of you who haven't seen it, here it is again...

There were about 10 kids/adults that felt like God might be calling them to full time missions and it was beautiful to see those hands go up.  God is good!

Late night games...ship and sailors
