Tonight Jay and I went on a much needed date. We haven't been on a date in months and I have looked forward to it all week. Even though we "see" each other all the time, there is just something special about looking forward to it, getting dressed up and going to dinner....alone.
We went to Outback, ate some really bad for you cheese fries and shared a steak, salad and baked potato. It was delicious but the company was even better. :)
Then we debated about what to do next. We could go see a movie but didn't want to pay a fortune to do so. Go get coffee? Or we could just make some at home. We decided to come home, make some coffee and go sit out by the lake and watch the sunset. It is always so relaxing and quiet out there and very therapeutic at times. The view was amazing....

I love the clouds reflecting on the water. It was a perfect mirror image...
Recently he bought several fish feeders to put around the 15 acre lake and the kids love to go with him at feeding time to the feeders and watch the fish/turtles. He turned it on to show me how it works and it was so neat! In this picture it is spraying out food. So cool!
Great date night with my hubby! Thanks Lolli for giving us a break and keeping the kids!
