A fun but busy Saturday...

The day started off with Lucy getting into her skin cream and she was laughing because she knew she wasn't supposed to be in it.  Then she started trying to eat it and licking her fingers and paws like a cat...it was funny.  No, I didn't let her eat it although it probably wouldn't have hurt her.  But to her it was fun while it lasted.

        

This afternoon we went to the fair in our town and it was alot of arts and crafts booths with some very cool things...but it was HOT and HUMID today! I got Lucy a paci clip and each of the kids a toy but that was all.  

Brayden hung out with the big boys and thought he was as big as they are.  Jay always says, "What Brayden lacks in stature, he makes up for in spirit!"   SO true!

Instead of having a booth just to hand out flyers, we had our Master Chef Brandon (who has won lots of awards for BBQ) cook for us and we sold BBQ sandwiches and handed out flyers also.  It was INCREDIBLE BBQ and we got to meet some people too!

After a couple of hours in the heat, we were exhausted and had to get the kids home for a nap!  So we bathed them, put them down for a nap and then when they woke up we headed out to the Redbirds game where Brayden's team was presented after the game.

After the game, Brayden's whole league was presented and got to walk out on the field.  He has had alot of anxiety about this because he is scared of the mascot and I wasn't sure he would walk out on the field, but he did great!  Jay walked with him.

All in all, it was a tiring but an incredible day!  Karis had her special night last night and Brayden's his tonight.  After the game, ALL THREE kids went to Lolli's house for 2 nights so Jay and I go to come home alone!  It was great!  She is great like that...thanks Lolli!
