Karis' 7th birthday party...

For Karis' bday party this year, she chose to have a few close friends over to spend the night to do all things girly and she got to choose her favorite restaurant, Kyoto, to take them to.

Here she is waiting on her friends to get here....

She is growing up WAY too fast!!!

My sweet girls!

After all her friends arrived, we loaded up and went to Kyoto to eat.  Karis loves the environment and entertainment there but loves the food too!

Karis and her best friend Mari-Morgan

Karis and Sydney, a friend from school

MM and Lulu

The girls LOVED all the tricks the chef did!

The fire scared a few of them though!

They brought the birthday girl out an ice cream sundae...

Then we went ahead and opened presents because MM had to leave early from the party because she was going out of town.  :(

Instead of cupcakes this year, Karis opted to do sugar cookie decorating instead.  It was a HUGE hit!  All the girls said it was way more fun than cupcakes and they got to decorate them themselves.  I made the sugar cookies and then they got to come to the table and decorate theirs however they wanted.  There was LOTS of sugar of course!

My birthday girl!

Doing the happy dance (or too much sugar)!

Then they painted fingernails and toenails (or whole toes haha!)...

Lolli read Lucy (and baby) a book...

They colored and played with Karis' art stuff...

Then before bed they did facial peel-off masks...one of Karis' favorite things.  The girls weren't so sure at first but ended up loving it too!

Then the next morning we had (at Karis' request) monkey bread and sausage.

The girls invaded my closet for high heel shoes!

And they played dress up!

What a fun party!  I can't believe she is getting so big so fast.  I love seeing my kids have fun, laugh and be with their friends.  But I REALLY love making memories with them!  So thankful for this blog to have all the memories so I won't forget them years down the road! :)
