Tuesday of Vacation

Well it's the first beautiful, warm, sunny day at the beach and we are going to take advantage of it.  And the sunscreen too, lots of it.  I think over the week we went through at least FOUR bottles of 30+ sunscreen...gotta protect those babies' soft as butta skin!

The water was definitely cold but once the kids got used to it, they were definitely out in it.  Unlike their mother, no thanks.

Love this action picture!  B was splashing K and it obviously was shockingly cold!

Pop-Pop and Lulu got some real bonding time because when she asked to get out in the water, Pop-Pop jumped on that.  I think she was wrapped around his (big) little finger!

We had a red flag today so the waves were high and surfers were everywhere!

Dad and his littlest Princess...

We set up camp on the beach real close to the Back Porch everyday.  But we never ate there surprisingly.

See what I mean about his {big} little finger?  When she was standing next to her Pop-Pop she looked so tiny!

After the beach each day we tried to come back to our pool {although it was FREEZING COLD} to wash the sand off before we all went back to shower.  The sand was out of control everywhere!

Tuesday night Jay and I got to go out on a date thanks to Nonnie and Pop-Pop!  They took the kids to Chick-fil-a for dinner, Bass Pro Shop and some other places and the kids had a ball!  Jay and I walked around the harbor, ate at Harry T's and then went to Walmart {and enjoyed it ha!}.  We were laughing at the fact that we were going to Walmart on our date and Jay says, "The funny thing is I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!"  So true...I agree.  God is good to give me this wonderful man to share life with and be totally in love, even if it is just going to Walmart.

While walking on the Harbor, some deep sea fishing boats just came in and the fish were being cleaned...

We ate at Harry T's right on the water and had a beautiful view of the boats coming in and out.  It was magical!

He was handsome too!  :)

We had an 8 layer veggie dip for appetizers that was delicious...

And I had a salmon salad with wasabi and ginger...similar to a sushi but cooked a little more.

Then we drove around a bit and then took a walk on the beach at sunset...spectacular and much needed quiet time with the hubs.

Thanks Nonnie and Pop-Pop for a night out with my best friend.  :)
