You guys know me well enough to know that although I was absent from the blog the last week does not mean that my trigger finger was idle. We just got back from a wonderful beach vacation for Spring Break with Jay's family and we didn't have great internet there to upload pictures so I am just now getting to load all the MANY pics I took. Seriously, yall are gonna be tired of all these pics when it is all said and done! I will probably try to do a post for every day we were there so just to warn you, there will be lots of pics coming!!!
We arrived in Destin on Saturday night and ate at one of our favorites Pompano Joes. Sunday the weather was still a little chilly and cloudy but we had to go check the beach out regardless. The kids' toes were aching to touch the sand!!!
At the condo where we stayed there was this great lake that the kids loved fishing off of and feeding the turtles.
First time of this vacation to really play at the beach. It was cold and the water was REALLY cold this day but it didn't stop the kids from getting in it!

That night we went to eat at one of our favorites Dewey Destins. It is a local hole-in-the-wall place that is so good.
Then we walked down by the boat dock and checked out all the boats and looked for fish...
After dinner we played a family game of Putt-Putt golf...
It was a great first day even if it was a little cold. The warmer days were coming though!!!
