The time has come and camp has ended. It leaves us with some really tired kids, dirty clothes, sunburns, great memories and happy hearts.
The third of the three camps ended this afternoon and it was the best yet. It was 5th-8th grade and hearts were receptive and God was moving. We had a total of 6 salvations over the week...one from 3rd and 4th grade and 5 last night in 5th-8th grade. I was privileged to lead a girl named Angela to the Lord in the 3rd and 4th grade camp and it was a moment I will never forget. There is just something so special about seeing someone open their spiritual eyes for the first time. :) God is good and all in all, I was the one blessed.
Here are some pics from this last camp...as you can tell from the pictures, it was a blast!
Jenny the camp director...she LOVED the bullhorn haha!
Fifi :)
The game ships and sailors
I have no idea....Brayden helped them wrap him up and then they poured a bucket full of ice water on his head! Poor guy!
Our family loves us some Hannah! :)
Me and my boy :)
Small group time
Jamie and Brayden
Our cooks....we were soooo thankful for them!
Of course chicken during pool time
Karis doing flips into the pool
The slip-n-slide got MUD-DY!
Jamie challenged the kids...the kids won...Jamie had to shave his hair into a mohawk!
My sweet Karis
Brayden loved getting to play the drums anytime he wanted!
Karis and her buddy Erin. They spent every waking moment with each other over the last week and a half. Erin is 2 years older than Karis and they played great together.
We are sad camp is over but looking forward to a good night of sleep tonight! So thankful for the Lord's work through Missions Camp and how it has blessed my family.
