Travel to the Grand Canyon and Sedona

After the conference was over, we spent the last free day traveling to the Grand Canyon.  It was about 4 hours away and we took a little detour through Sedona, because we have been told how beautiful it was and that it was worth it!

Warning....although they are all beautiful, there are lots of scenery/rock/dessert pics.

As we traveled the 4 hours, I was amazed at how quickly the scenery would change.  It would be cactus, then all trees, then dessert, then rocks and then mountains and then some more.  Check them out below....it was beautiful scenery!

At this stop to check out some scenery and take pics, Jay and I were able to witness and share the gospel with a lady working there.  She claimed to be a believer and we got her information to correspond with her. Please pray for Linda.

Random outhouse in the dessert anyone??? Ha!

This is NOT the Grand Canyon although beautiful...just one of the fingers of it.

It was super windy as you will see...my hair and dress were going haywire in all of them!

Snow-capped mountain in Arizona in June???

This was taken when it was about 7:00 p.m.  It got up to 107 while we were there although they tell us this is the cool season!  WHOA!
