We had never been to Freeport before today but now that we have, it wasn't my favorite port. There just wasn't much to see although I LOVED the beach there it was beautiful!
This is Freeport...not too much to see other than some straw market shops. But you have to take a taxi about 10 minutes into town to see other shops and the beach.
Jay loved this woodcarver and all of his stuff...
This menu is hilarious....very Bahamian!
(Luv ya sef, chicken in da bag)
Jay bought some seafood (I think it was conch fritters) at this shop.
The biggest shock in the cab was they drove on the wrong side of the road...so glad we weren't driving!
Haven't seen these in a long time!
The beach was GORGEOUS!
We didn't wear our bathings suits and were trying to beat the storm back to the ship, but I did put my feet in the ocean!
But...we didn't make it. It started pouring down and we stayed under this tent while it was bad and then headed back to the ship. We were soaked by the time we got back!
My dinner date!
After dinner alot of nights we would go to a show (game show, production show or comedy) but we weren't allowed to take pictures during any of those. It was fun having things to do on the ship if we wanted to, but we didn't have to if we didn't want to. There was one show we went to that was quite immodest and we chose to leave. But everything else was really fun, we really enjoyed the family-friendly comedy shows. If you know my husband, you know his laugh is contagious and I love to hear him laugh! :)
Great day looking forward to our anniversary in Key West tomorrow!
