Since Thursday we have had some very dear family members that we don't get to see very often here at our home and it has been absolute wonderful. Jay's dad Larry and grandmother whom we call Nana2 (her mom was Nana, so she is Nana2) from Orlando were here as well as Jay's sister Valerie from North Carolina. We cherished each and every day knowing it will be a while until we see them again. It is hard to have family living far away! :(
Aunt Valerie brought the kids gifts and the girls got these adorable monogrammed hats. They were adorable and they were so proud of them.
It has been over 10 years since Nana2 has had all of her chickens in a wad and of course since then, her 3 great-grandkids have been born. She was sooooo proud to have one of her sons (missing Bo he couldn't come), her grandkids, and her grandkids all together. So of course not knowing how long it would be before we were all together again, we had to take LOTS of pictures.
The kids love and ADORE their Aunt Valerie. And she was so good with them!
Lucy was ready to go fishing with daddy. She dressed herself this day, put her hat on, purple glitter sunglasses on, grabbed her purse and was ready to go!
Nana 2 and Pap brought the kids some gifts too and one was this state/capital puzzle. Pap was so patient to do this puzzle 1,001 times. :)
Jay's grandmother is the cutest, prissiest grandmother in the world. She is so full of life, funny, typical Southern Belle. She even looks prissy when she catnaps!
Pap surprised the kids with a shopping spree to Walmart to buy whatever they wanted. Lucy got this Baby Alive "Baby All Better" baby. She has not put it down!

One thing we did alot of is EAT this week! I cooked mostly but one night Nana2 treated us to Sekisui, one of our favs! Pap tried Sushi for the first time and didn't care for it. But we did enjoy our dinner and the kids love watching them cook in front of us (despite the fire Lucy is afraid of).
Blue sucker tongue!
Me and Jay's sister....although I feel like she is my sister. We are alot alike!
The kids didn't want everybody to leave. Brayden especially kept saying, "Mom I am going to miss Aunt Valerie! Will you put a picture of her up in my room?!" It was so sweet.
We so enjoyed our company and HATED to say goodbye! I cried when they all left because we don't get to see them very often. But we are so very thankful for our fun-filled weekend and the time we did get with them!
We love you Nana2, Pap and Aunt Valerie! You know you are welcome any time and we can't wait until next time!
