The only fun in the sun that's possible these days is at the pool because it is HOT outside! So that is just what we have done the last 2 days.
Yesterday, we swam at our pool with a bunch of friends. There were LOTS of kiddos (14 in all) and plenty of sunshine, pruned feet, splashes and laughs.
Meila had so much fun she konked out in the float in the midst of the chaos. It was really adorable!

Brayden ended up spending the night with the Potts and Kara ended up coming home and spent the night with Karis. Funny story...they had long talks about how late they have stayed up for sleepovers...11, 1, even 2 a.m. and questioned what time I would make them go to bed. Knowing we swam all day yesterday and had another swim date planned today, I set an 11 p.m. bedtime. They came to me at 10:30 and were putting themselves to bed (before my curfew I set) because they were so tired! Ha!
Lucy ended up sleeping in our room since Brayden was gone and Karis had a friend to spend the night. I couldn't help but take a picture when I saw this sweet thing....
Today we passed a field of sunflowers that was beautiful! We stopped to snap some pictures.
We went swimming today at the Capp's house and it was fun to swim somewhere other than home. They had a diving board which the kids loved...this momma might have even dove off it a time or two.
Brayden perfected his front flip...
Lucy even jumped off the diving board at least 3 times...yah Lulu!
Tonight Mari-Morgan came home with us to spend the night...that's what Summers are for right?! After dinner we made some homemade chocolate milkshakes which were devoured quickly. They are some of our favs!
Right now are playing "doctor" in the sunroom. I heard someone saying someone was throwing up...I sure hope they are playing!!! Doctor Lucy to the rescue!
