Baseball, a playground, and a pageant

All the kiddos were up early bright-eyed and bushy tailed.  After breakfast we all headed out to Brayden's T-ball Jamboree.  Emily is Lucy's buddy the whole day....she was wonderful!  Lucy clung to her and wouldn't let Emily ("Emy" as Lucy called her) out of her sight! Emily was soooo good with Lucy and just tagged her around everywhere she went.  I love this picture of her looking up at Em!

Timmy is Brayden's little buddy.  Brayden idolizes Timmy and Timmy is so protective of Brayden that he wouldn't let anybody mess with him!

Brayden and his little buddy Eli...sad they are on different teams but it will be fun when they play each other!

My big boy!  Last year it was so sentimental but this year (it's his second year) he just walked right over and acted like he knew what he was doing.  This boy LOVES baseball!!!

He and his little teammates

Lolli was there so of course the kids got anything they wanted to eat!  They were all in candy/nacho/slim jim heaven!  Again, Lucy wanted nothing to do with me and Lolli, she only wanted "Emy"!

Brayden played first base the whole game and Jay was out there with him helping out.

Down and ready...

Batter went air-born!

Brayden batting....

He had an incredible hit!  If you look closely, you can see it flying in the picture.

Right after coming across home plate...he was grinning from ear to ear!

Afterwards we walked over to the playground for a few minutes until we got too hot!  It was almost 90 degrees!

We came home and ate lunch and hung out for the afternoon.  Allen ended up coming over after he finished with his test that morning which was  a nice surprise!  It was good to get to hang out with him.

Jonathan and Jenna celebrated their one year anniversary this weekend (Happy Anniversary!) and then called on their way back home and wanted to stop by so they came over as well.  It was a fun, not planned get-together (missed Matt and Tiff!).  We grilled chicken and just hung out.  Then I had to leave to judge a local high school pageant (which was so fun by the way and my buddy Paige got to do it with me!).  Lolli stayed around to help get all the kiddos bathed and ready for bed and everybody headed home.  It was such a fun day and we are so thankful for family!
