On Friday we got a call from Nonnie asking us to join them on their trip to Orange Beach leaving Sunday morning. At the time we were questioning because Saturday morning we woke up and Karis had strep and had a pretty rough day. However she was on meds and should be fine by Sunday morning so we packed up and headed on. It was a great, quick trip and the kids loved the beach as always!
We got there Sunday afternoon and went out to eat and got some quick groceries and spent some time in the indoor heated pool. Monday it rained all day so we went to alot of the touristy shops and let the kids swim again in the indoor pool. Brayden found this sweet friend who let Brayden throw in all his toys and then he would go and get them. They played together for a long time and ended up hanging out all week. His name was Christopher and he is 7.

Monday night we went to this cool restaurant on the beach called The Hangout. It was a huge restaurant with good, cheap food with a whole store of goodies, a band, dancing, and a HUGE play area outside for the kids. We loved this place so much we ended up going back a second time the next night.
