Day 2 was a GORGEOUS day at the beach. It was 75 degrees and not a cloud in the sky! It was even a little chilly when we got to the beach at 9 but never got too hot! It was amazing and the kids LOVED playing in the sand with their new friends!
From our balcony...Go DUKE! She knew her daddy would love this hat!
Funny story...we have a little flirt/heartbreaker on our hands. I don't know how he managed to do this, but Brayden had middle school girls following him all week long. Within minutes of meeting them, they were chasing him, following him around, and even leaving their friends to play with him. Seriously it was the joke of the week because at least 6 or 7 times in 3 days it happened. We are IN TROUBLE! This group of girls we met at the restaurant the night before and he had all three playing with him and then they found us on the beach the next day. He had them all 3 going out looking for sand dollars for him and building him sandcastles! The girl on the left Bree, even stayed for 3 hours after her friends went back in to stay and play with him and then when her mom came to get her, she was very upset she had to go in! I need to hire her as a babysitter...too bad she lives in Alabama!
This is their friend Alex helping them build a sandcastle. He is a year and a half older than Karis.

I think Karis had a little looker too! Alex was ADORABLE and had eyes to die for! He was very sweet too!

What a cutie!
How sweet!
After lunch, we (and our new friends) went to our hotel pool to get away from the sand for a little while.
And Alex's grandmother bought Brayden and Karis ice cream! It doesn't get much better than this!
I was reminded why I love the beach so much today!
