Karis' 4th Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Karis' 4th birthday!  Ever since she started gymnastics, that is where she wanted to have her party.  So it made it easy for me, so I agreed.  The party was a blast and the kids had a great time.  It was such a fun day!

Nonnie took care of the cake for us and what a beauty it was!  Someone she knows trained under whoever made Princess Diana's birthday cake and she obviously did a great job on Karis' as well.  It reads, "Happy Birthday Princess Karis."  Everything was edible (although we didn't attempt them....the crown, slipper and the tassles).

The kids began the party doing an obstacle course with all the equipment.  They got so excited about it!

Balance beam

Way to go Karis!

Brayden attempting some flips too!

And look at all these tricks!!!!

Kendall, Miller, Hannah, and Mari-Morgan at the balance beam.

After the obstacle course, they did the tumble track and then a parachute game.

And on to the bars...

And of course Brayden wanted to try it...

Climbing the rope...

The kids singing "Happy Birthday" to Karis.

Then we opened gifts....lots of fun things!

Time to blow out the candles!

Karis and Coach Shannon

After the "friend" birthday party, we came back to our house with all the grandparents and family to have a cookout to celebrate!  Here are her gifts from grandparents.

Princess Karis

She got this princess elevated sleeping bag from her Lolli and Pop.
She got a princess Barbie, Barbie and the Diamond Castle carriage, Diamond Castle movie, and another princess movie from Nonnie, Pop-Pop and Grandmother and Pinto.

Here she is playing with all of her toys.  She is putting on eyeshadow!

And showing it to Nonnie and Lolli.

Great picture of Karis and Nonnie.  However it was supposed to be a picture of Karis Nonnie AND Lolli until Karis moved her head right in front of Lollis.  Sorry Lolli.

Karis is sharing her new bed with brother.
After opening presents, we told some really big news to the family (next post).  It was a WONDERFUL day!  Happy Birthday Karis!  We love you!
