Karen Gaskins Updates

If you follow me on Facebook, you know that my mom's best friend has been hospitalized since last Friday when she drove herself to the ER with heart symptoms.  They ended up keeping her to monitor her and do some tests. They wanted to do a heart cath but couldn't do it until Monday.  Although her heart appeared fine with no blockages, at the end of the heart cath, she experienced a stroke and it has affected the part of her brain that affects her balance.  She is often dizzy and can't sit up past a 30 degree angle without getting sick.  She is improving each day but may have some hard therapy ahead.  You can follow our facebook updates here.
