As some of you may remember from THIS POST, at the end of October my mom decided to be a part of a study using a gastric balloon to help her lose weight. Well now 3 months later, she is doing great and is halfway through the balloon part. She has lost about 25 lbs. and several sizes. In fact she mentioned to me yesterday that she bought a size she hasn't bought in years. In 3 more months, she will get the balloon removed and then will continue her diet/exercise she has been doing for 6 more months for the remainder of the study.
