Tonight my 26 year old brother Matt got engaged to his 2 year girlfriend, Tiffany Parrish. She was totally shocked! They had tickets to go to the Orpheum tonight to see CATS and she knew they would be going out to eat first. But a couple of days ago Matt told her that he needed to go check out the Madison hotel for my mom b/c she might be getting a night there for my parents anniversary. So they needed to go there before dinner. She, oblivious, agreed and they proceeded into the hotel and he took her to the rooftop and proposed. Then they met us at Bigfoot, a restaurant downtown to surprise her! Her mom came in from Nashville so that was a tearjerker when she finally spotted her mom!

The Big Foot burger (If you can eat this $21/4 lb. burger in under an hour, you get it for free). Although we didn't try it, 6 people split this and there were still leftovers!

In the mall downtown, this bear sits with a shirt that reads, "Gimme some chocolate and nobody gets hurt!" I love it!

ReplyDeleteDon't know any other way to get this message back to the bride and groom. I received mail for the Joel Morgan family announcing the upcoming wedding in December. He has not lived at this address in years (we've been here 3). There's no return address on the postcard and I can't find the website listed on the postcard.
