Finally well...

It has been a long month here in our household and poor Lucy has hit it rough! Almost 4 weeks ago, Lucy got a cold/virus and it has lingered and lingered and lingered. Did I mention it lingered? She had fever in those first couple of days and never had it again; however the runny nose, congestion, fussiness, refusal to eat, lack of sleep has stuck around. She has always been a good sleeper and for weeks she has slept very little and SCREAMS when I lay her down. She would literally go all day sleeping combined totals of 2 hours (like from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.)...that made for one REALLY tired momma! But the lingering cold turned into an ear infection. After she started meds she immediately started getting better and FINALLY she is back to her old self....ahhhh! She is grinning as big as ever and just a joy to have around. It sure isn't fun when your baby is sick! But I think we are finally well...for now anyway.
