Visiting Jay's family in Florida

Fall Vacation part 1 of 3

Due to homeschooling this year, we were able to take a vacation in the FALL....something we have never been able to do before.  Actually we brought our school on the road and it was wonderful and so fun!  We headed to Orlando to visit Jay's dad and grandmother.  We opted to take 2 days for the drive so it wouldn't be so long so we stopped at a hotel with an indoor pool so the kids could swim.  We had the whole pool and the hot tub to ourselves the whole time!

My little mermaid....

We were so excited to finally arrive and to hug their necks!  Being there is one of my favorite places to be!

Jay's grandmother's yard is beautiful and has an amazing view.  We spent a lot of time out here!

Lucy got Nana 2 to help her "babysit" her babies.  :)

Jay and his dad....

Love these three little blessings!

The kiddos with their great-grandmother... (Nana 2-76, Karis-8, Brayden-7, Lucy-4)

Uncle Bo was the hero and made the kids several homemade swings/outside fun.

What?! You mean you don't swing with your purse?!

Uncle Bo saw Brayden trying to make his own zip line so he came up with a really cool idea and it was  a HUGE hit!

Jay's dad and Nana 2 watching the zip line!

Lucy was so brave...just one of the big kids.  Another quick reminder she is not a baby anymore!

Brayden loved catching lizards...they were everywhere!

We even had a s'mores night!

And we viewed many great sunsets in her backyard!

Uncle Bo is a retired military and he gave Jay (and eventually Brayden) this gun that has been in the family for 150 years!

We had a blast seeing all of them...stay tuned for posts on Gatorland and Magic Kingdom!
