Honestly I don't know all the details about this holiday yet other than today our country celebrated children and they are all out of school. It also is exactly 3 months prior to Ram@dan and it is a Musl1m holiday. However our kids wanted in on the tradition with their friends and it was a good way for us to learn/be dunked into the culture here in Central Asia. Basically the children go from apartment building to apartment building and get candy (kinda like our Halloween without all the gore and dressing up). Our kids were all about this and they start as early as 7:30 a.m.!!! I went along to see what it was all about and to take pics of course. Somebody has to document this day!
