It's finally Spring around here and we are loving the gorgeous weather! We have enjoyed many an afternoon outside and picnics and park outings are becoming regulars around here!
Friday night family/movie nights are our favorite part of the week. We look forward to it all week and work hard to get to to Fridays!
And a taste from home is icing on the cake!
We have gone to 2 birthday parties in one week, both being our firsts in another language. It was similar in some ways and different in others. My favorite part was the kids hide the gifts somewhere in the house and the birthday person finds each one and then opens it. It adds a little excitement to the party!

Lucy and I spent an afternoon out this week…love spending special time with each one.
On the way to the mall, we posed at these flowers. Then about 3 seconds later, she slipped in mud and it was quite the event!

Living in an apartment and not having a yard creates it's own problems….
It's been a great week although we have had some culture shock days. We love living in a foreign culture although some days are harder than others.
