Great Wolf Lodge Cincinnati

After we left the Creation Museum, we drove about 50 minutes to the Great Wolf Lodge to stay for 2 nights.  I had read about it on my friend Katie's blog where they had been there over Christmas.  We had been looking for something to do with the kids over Spring Break and when we saw her pics we decided to book that day!  It was WONDERFUL!  It is kinda pricey (which is why we only stayed 2 nights!) but worth it for a short amount of time.

We stayed in a "Kid Cabin" which is a regular room with a king size bed but it has a log cabin inside the room with bunkbeds for just the kids (with their own tv).  I know the kids would be thrilled, which they were!  There were 3 bunks which was perfect.  Our room also had a fireplace and a balcony!

Every night at 8:00 they have a "bedtime" story for the kids...it is so cute!  Although it was geared towards the smaller ones, Brayden and Karis only went once and Lucy chose to go back a second night too.

Of course the indoor water park was our favorite!  It had a HUGE kiddie area complete with 6 kiddie slides, a wave pool, an activity area with basketball courts, lazy river and EIGHT water slides for the adults.  It was amazing.  I will let the pics speak for themselves!

We got out one night to go to dinner and ice cream but other than that stayed at the hotel for mostly everything.  I would recommend a grocery run before you get to the hotel because the food there is really expensive!  We went to the store and only managed to buy a couple of cups of coffee and that is all.  Other than the one meal we ate out we packed lunches and snacks from what we had in our room.

Here are some videos of the water slides and some randoms...

This one is funny...

LONG trip home to do in one day but we survived!

At least we had some tired kiddos...but it still took Lucy at least 5 hours into the trip to fall asleep.
It was an incredible trip!  SO thankful for this time away with my family!
