We enjoyed our 4th of July although we were missing family and friends, fireworks, cookouts and all the festivities around the holidays. We have a great group of friends here and were glad to celebrate our country's birthday with an American cookout and all the fixin's including hamburgers and hot dogs, chicken, chips and rotel, cake, brownies and cookies and even had lemonade and sweet tea! It was a blast and the kids played until they just didn't have an ounce of energy left!
