Passion Play

We came to Nonnie and Pop-Pop's house to see them in the Passion Play their church puts on every year.  They have both been in it for the past several years and we always enjoy seeing them in their element.  They work SOOO hard at it and always see people come to know the Lord through it.  But this year we got to go see the set early in the day so the kids got to walk up on stage and see behind the scenes.  They LOVED that part.  Nonnie showed us her part...she is a crippled woman and had an AMAZING solo!

Pop-Pop doing an amazing job as the head centurion...I would be scared of him!!!

Nonnie as a crippled woman...

She is healed by Jesus!

Great job Nonnie and Pop-Pop!  You did great as always and the play was God-honoring!  Thankful for the cross!

One thing I was especially thankful for this year was knowing that Karis and Brayden, now believers, would see the story completely different than they have in the past.  They understood so much more and the Holy Spirit gave them a tenderness in their heart that I could see in their eyes as they watched it.  Thankful for seeing fruit already in my children's lives and so thankful that the Lord saved them at a young age!  Now we will continue to pray the same for Lucy and for those around the world who have never heard the good news!

Egg Hunt with Nonnie and Pop-Pop

While we were at Nonnie and Pop-Pops for the day, we stopped by Pop-Pop's work and did an Easter egg hunt while it wasn't raining.

Thankful for fun memories with Nonnie and Pop-Pop!!!

Allen's 25th Birthday!

We celebrated my brother Allen's birthday this week and I am so proud of him and the man that he has become.  We were thrilled to celebrate with him and another year God has given him!

The boys from L to R: my brother Matt and his foster son "Lil' B",  Brayden, Allen's roommate Robbie, and Allen

 My sweet parents...love them!

My sis-n-law Tiffany and Karis

Me and the birthday boy!

My brothers (minus Jonathan)

After dinner we went to Allen's new house that he just moved in to a couple of weeks ago.  He moved in with a friend who needed a roommate and Allen LOVES his new place. His roommate Robbie has this 7 month old Great Dane and it was HUGE!  The kids loved him!

Happy Birthday Allen!  We love you!!!

My little friends' egg hunt

One thing I love about keeping children is to see their faces light up over the smallest things that bring delight to them.  I love these sweet little ones and to see them smile makes my heart skip a beat!

Everett has come to LOVE little baby Colt.  He is constantly talking to him, wanting to help me change his diaper, feed him, and talking to the "babas!" (baby)  It is a good thing he is so in love with babies because he will have a baby brother coming in August!

Friday will be Colt's last day and we are ALL sad about it!  He has been the star around here lately...everybody wants to help take care of the baby!

For Easter, my babysitting moms brought sweet treats for everyone to share.  With all these goodies, it was bound to be a good day!

After naps we all went outside with baskets for an egg hunt.  Everybody was pumped to be going outside if it is was for (empty) eggs.
