Bartlett Parade

After the Germantown parade, we headed over to the Bartlett parade and it was great also...though ALOT colder because the sun had gone down.  BRRR!

Mom and Brayden (Yes he is wearing pink gloves...we didn't have any for him and we were desperate...it was cold!)

Karis seeing the clowns coming...she doesn't care for them at all!

Some of the floats...it was so dark we couldn't get very many pictures

Me and my kiddos

After such a long day, Karis did not have a nap and it is showing all over her face.  Can you tell?

Germantown Parade

Mom and I took the kids to a day of parades on Saturday...the first one being the Germantown parade.  We have never been to this one before and it was great!  It wasn't crowded at all but the parade was very enjoyable and it was at 2:00 p.m. so the weather was wonderful too.

On our way we saw this snowman and the kids wanted to go see it so we did!  If you put on your magnifying glass you will see mom and kids at the bottom....
Fun parade...now on to the Bartlett parade!

Uncle Matt's Half-Marathon

Saturday my brother Matt ran the Memphis Half Marathon and we all went to see and support him.  He did great as always and we had a blast watching.  He is an iron man so this was a piece of cake for him although it would be a miracle for me to complete it!

The Marathon ended at the Redbirds stadium and the kids loved looking at the Redbirds car....Brayden couldn't understand why there wasn't a game being played!

A little under the weather

We are a bunch of sicklings at our house these days (except for Karis...don't know how she escaped all of this).  Brayden came down with a bad cold/allergies/fever over the weekend and you know what that means for him...breathing treatments. He has finally learned to ask for one when he feels bad.  He'll say, "Mom, I need a treatment."  And then he will go and sit in his seat and wait on it.  Isn't that pitiful?  Jay also had allergy issues and then I caught it all.  It has been 3 days now and I am still yucky today.  We have gone through lots of meds over the past few days, lots of tissues, breathing treatments, many fever checks and you name it.  Everyone else seems to be on the mend and hopefully today will be the last of it for me.  Being pregnant, there is very little I can take...alot of Sudafed, Tylenol, and I have taken a Benadryl or two.  This was my bedside this morning...pitiful!  I am looking forward to everyone being well again so for the first time in a while I can get a full night's sleep!

Thanksgiving Weekend

After Thanksgiving we spent lots of time just hanging out and being with family we haven't seen in a year.  We did lots of fun things including going to the park, shopping at Nonnie's store, Karis had a sleepover at Aunt Jessie's duplex, watching LOTS of football, and going to church.

Here are the kids at the park

Below are some family photos we took.  This one is 4 generations...Grandmother and Pinto, Nonnie, Jay and both kids.

All the girls (Grandmother with her two daughters on top...Nonnie and Aunt Juju...then me and Karis and Didi and Evie.

On Saturday, before Evie had to leave, the girls made necklaces.  How beautiful!

We had a fantastic time in Corinth.  We can't wait until next year.
