Christmas 2015

Christmas was amazing this year although we missed our families terribly.  The kids loved celebrating it each day through Advent and looking forward to the excitement of Christmas Day.

But first, lets look at some Christmas' past….

Some of my favorite times are early in the morning or late in the evening with everyone quiet in the house and only the lights from our tree shining.  It is so calming and I will miss it now that Christmas is over!

My favorite addition this year was the "baby Jesus" Lucy added under the tree.  Love her little heart!

We received a lot of love in the form of packages this year.  We are so grateful and were brought to tears through each package that arrived.

We watched a lot of Christmas movies and this year we introduced them to "A Christmas Carol."  They liked it although Lucy was scared of the ghosts of Christmas…haha.

We did some holiday baking….but I didn't get a pic of all of it.  This is all that was left by the time I got to it.

We made 6 of these Pioneer woman cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning to share with some of our buddies.

Christmas celebration with our American friends on Christmas Eve….

Mexican feast….

Kids' Christmas crafts….

A little Christmas worship….

Some gift giving….

A little dirty santa….

Early traditional Christmas gift…pajamas!

Christmas morning!!!!

Christmas morning breakfast….ham, bacon, biscuits, Pioneer Woman cinnamon rolls, and eggs!

Christmas dinner…favorites meal.  Everyone had a favorite in there…chick-fil-a chicken nuggets with homemade chickfila sauce, sweet potato casserole, green beans, green bean casserole, and DR. PEPPER!  It was yummy!

And of course we loved getting to FaceTime with our families that afternoon and evening.  We miss them terribly but thankful for technology!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!!!
