Last days with Nonnie

We have had a blast with Nonnie and hate to see her go but we got to enjoy the last few days with her and see some amazing things.

We went to a small village nearby and did some sightseeing and cave hiking...

There is an amazing pottery shop there and we go in there often but don't get to see him at work until today.  We got invited into the back to watch him….AMAZING!

The only church in town has been switched to a museum that people tour….

We had some friends over for dinner and of course the kids love having people over to play with them. It is great language practice for all of us!

Here they are selfie fanatics….it drives me nuts!

Nonnie's first local coffee...

We made sushi one night with some friends...

And yummy homemade pretzels and homemade sauces (caramel and honey mustard)….delicious!

We even got a date night out…woohoo!

We visited an old Biblical site that was the only city we hadn't visited on the first journey.  There wasn't much to the site because they had just started renovations but the landscape was majestic!

The kids made tie-dyed shirts while we were on date night and they were waiting to see what their shirts looked like after they were washed ha!

Here there is always time for a party or dance…even if it is in the middle of the street!

Gul made Nonnie a local treat!

We made donuts!

Before Nonnie left she left this note for the kids.  Weeks later they still love to drink out of it!

Last night…everybody slept with Nonnie!

Morning Nonnie leaves…until next time Nonnie!  We love you!!!!!
